Speaker

Arthur Weiss

AWARE, United Kingdom

Abstract:

This workshop will look at ways of finding competitive intelligence online that go beyond standard Google searches. The workshop will examine search engine differences, using the deep web and look at new developments for finding intelligence on line from (mostly) free sources. Participants will learn how to find seemingly impossible intelligence that can be buried within the web – including taking advantage of competitor stupidity in what they reveal on their web-sites.

Key topics:

  • Discover the latest developments for finding information online using traditional (Google, Bing, etc.) and new search engines
  • Uncover ways to simplify online research and make it much more efficient and effective.
  • Recognise the importance of deep-web and specialist search tools to find intelligence that won’t be found using Google.
  • Learn how to examine competitor sites – for hidden material, web-strategy and comparisons with other sites.
